Two "red and blue" nest forms flank the main lobby reception desk. Found objects and clay "artifacts" honor North Carolina craft traditions and include elements relating to the history and work of police officers and firefighters.

Local artists Shaun Cassidy and Rae Goodwin fabricated elements of these sculptures and collaborated with Conner on design development.
